Felt Unicorn Mask Pattern

This week I finally finished my newest pattern, Maisie Moos Felt Unicorn Mask.  The girls have been waiting so patiently for me to finish this design, which has been a challenge to make.  I have had to design the mask to fit around the forehead so the generous horn does not 'flop'.  There were a number of prototypes for this, but it was worth it in the end.  Super happy with this design, which I can now share with you all, find the pattern here.

New Patterns Released This Week

I am on a bit of a transport theme this week and am happy to announce the creation of two new patterns.  My felt Train and Hot Air Balloon.

I have really enjoyed making these two, learning to use new programs Light room and Illustrator have been a challenge too!

Two new patterns

It is school holidays here at the moment and Maisie Moo is closed for custom creations.  I am loving the extra time I have to spend with my two girls, enjoying this fabulous beach weather and long warm evenings.  We are starting to feel at home in our new house and my studio is almost complete.  I have also used this time to finish off some patterns that I had been working on last year.   

One of my favorite wee critters is the humble hedgehog.  We used to have one visit us in our last house, we called him snuffles... he would return every year and bumble about under our deck.    Therefore it seemed a given that the fourth addition to my woodland set would be a hedgehog.  You will find more details on this pattern here. 

The other release this week is the Felt Name Banner pattern.  I have be asked more times that I care to remember for information one of my best sellers.  I decided to offer my experience in the form of a pattern, which will offer information on the best way to cut, sew and stuff every letter of the alphabet.

Felt Squirrel Pattern

Once again you asked and I (finally) delivered.  The request was for more patterns in a woodland theme.  So here is my Felt Squirrel, now available in my Etsy shop here.

Maisie Moo Clouds

Clouds seem to be awfully popular at the moment, and felt is the perfect fabric to create a plump soft fluffy effect. They are perfect for a 'sex unknown' nursery.... add a splash of colour and you can coordinate with your nursery decor too.
